About

Winga Myamly was established to provide a forum and support for reconciliation in the Macarthur Region.

“Winga Myamly” means “sit down and talk” in the Wiradjuri language. This is the name given to the group which brings together Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people from the Macarthur Region.

Throughout the year, Winga Myamly organises a number of events and participates in reconciliation activities for the Appin Massacre Memorial, Sorry Day, Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week.
